“Archi Run: Running + Architectural Tour with Jiehwoo Seung and Minsun Kang (Daehak-ro ~ DDP Course)”
Archi Run is a special program where architects who enjoy running explore the city together with citizens. Five architects — Soo-In Yang, Joongjung Koo, Jiehwoo Seung, Minsun Kang, and Minjae Shin — each design their own 5–7 km course and guide participants through walking and running tours that reveal the city from an architect’s perspective.
In this session, Jiehwoo Seung and Minsun Kang of IROJE Architects & Planners will lead participants on a course from Daehak-ro to DDP, sharing urban landscapes and stories from the unique viewpoint of architects.
About the Architects
Jiehwoo Seung and Minsun Kang are a married architect couple who both graduated from the Department of Architecture at the Korea National University of Arts. After 10 years of study and professional practice in London, they returned to Seoul in 2018 and now run IROJE Architects & Planners.
- Minsun Kang is a full-time professor in the Department of Spatial Design at Kookmin University and also oversees IROJE Object, the firm’s furniture brand. Within IROJE, she manages PR, HR, and the Archive.
- Jiehwoo Seung, the principal, has made it a personal routine for the past four years to run home along this very route after work.
This is a paid program, and each participant will get a T-shirt.
